River Goyt South

Half‐official routes of several kinds, sometimes ‘Goyt Way’. Much of the north is pushed away by houses and fields. Navigation not clear in Whaley Bridge. Near reservoirs is ex‐railway, to north is field paths and backroads. Less noisy than city walks. Moorland scenery near reservoirs, rolling countryside to north. The reservoirs are outstanding Peak District, and then there’s the best fun ever in walking, the Millenium Walkway. (untried) Alternative route in Whalley Bridge avoids canal and a major road.
