Ladybrook Trail

Recognised as one walk, but works as local routes, no marks I recall. Map extended beyond Manchester boundary because the end is better connected, and near Lyme. Pointless but unfixable kink in path through Poynton. Tricky navigation near Cheadle. Footing varies from wide and well‐surfaced in Cheadle, used by many, to clambering stones near Middlewood. Surprisingly low noise, if not quiet. Path runs through some fields and green suburbs. Muddled, but almost riotously engaging anywhere, Bramhall Hall and Lyme (1 mile) are substantial historic houses with grounds. (untried) Alternative route avoids the Poynton kink.
