Note: Edgeley Park is non‐smoking and alcohol must not be brought into the stadium. First time, try the Danny Bergara stand, a few rows up or, for kids/support, the ‘Together’ stand. But a venue? Did we miss the criteria? Yes you’re there to see football, which runs between August and May—reliably. Edgeley Park because the reasons are many. The stadium is near Stockport, a few bus‐stops or a mile walk (uphill, though). Team and stadium have been about for over one hundred years, so have history. And Edgeley Park is a stadium—ok, it’s not the Nou Camp, Braga, or Old Trafford, but like you see on TV. Yet Stockport County are a mid‐tables team, so it’s easy and reasonable price to buy tickets at the stadium or online. Football is important in Manchester and after much talk we figure Edgeley Park, with County (‘’The Hatters’) the team to see. So go, wrap up warm, buy pie, watch The Hatters take on the likes of Carlisle, Exeter or Peterborough, say you’ve been to a football match.
