Review
A big old building, four floors of restored furniture, books and curiosity shops. Specialised (G‐Plan furniture? Cast iron fireplaces?) and honest wares, heaps of genuine curiosities, it’s a good hour browse. When operating at full tilt, you can wander the sheds behind to watch people turning wood, or full‐size plastic cows. There’s a cafe in the basement, with off‐road outside seating. If you like paperweights, cast‐iron fireplaces, dressers or glaze tiles, you may be surprised how long you stay. And, if you wander outside, some cafes across the road, including Trove. Trove—some would go for that alone, look them up.
